PROJECT TITLE: NAS North Island Extraction Injection System

DESCRIPTION: FNC provided construction services for the building of an active bioremediation system for the treatment of CVOC impacts to groundwater. A system of vaults and secondary containment piping were constructed above and below ground. This allowed for a series of conveyance tubes, instrumentation cables, power and communications lines to be pulled from various points throughout the site connecting extraction wells to a central treatment trailer and then back to the injection points. FNC installed a 240/120v single phase transformer to step down off existing base power. After making all the necessary power and conveyance connections to the central trailer compound, FNC assisted Geosyntec in the initial testing and startup process. This project was completed within the confines of an active Naval Engineering and Utilities maintenance facility.
